I’m an experienced physiotherapist with over 20 years of clinical practice across South Africa, the UK, Hong Kong, and now Melbourne (since July 2022). I provide evidence-based care using a biopsychosocial approach, helping people manage pain and improve function in a way that’s tailored to their individual goals.
My sessions combine manual therapy, which I value for its hands-on connection and therapeutic benefits, with personalised exercise programs designed to support long-term outcomes. Education is a key part of every session—because understanding pain and how your body works is essential to making lasting progress.
This is especially true when treating chronic pain, which requires a comprehensive, patient-centred approach. With advanced training—including in Pain Reprocessing Therapy—I offer specialised care that addresses the physical, emotional, and neurological factors contributing to persistent pain.
As a certified Peri and Menopausal Women’s Health Coach, I also support women through the hormonal and physical changes of this life stage. My coaching includes tailored exercise, education, and lifestyle strategies to help manage symptoms, maintain function, and support overall wellbeing.
From my home clinic in Ashburton, I offer individual assessment and treatment sessions, including manual therapy, dual exercise sessions, and telehealth consultations. I also run group exercise classes and Menopause Women’s Groups at the Ashburton Community Centre.
In addition to private practice, I work part-time as a senior physiotherapist at the Barbara Walker Centre for Pain Management, St Vincent’s Public Hospital, where I continue to deepen my expertise in complex pain care.
